Company History
Neil Hooson first began working in the digital arts in 1996 as one half of a collaboration called Pixelhead Productions, producing 2D and 3D animation, as well as graphics for the web. After ultimately ending up on his own with Pixelhead Productions, Neil founded Point Blank Studios Inc. (PBSI) in 1999. His long-term goal was to slowly steer the business toward more illustration and animation projects, with the ultimate goal of designing and producing original animated series for broadcast.
Neil is very proud of the many diverse projects he has worked on over the years, as well as his outstanding client satisfaction rate. As someone who has always wanted to be involved in the visual arts, he has achieved professional satisfaction as a full-time illustrator/animator for Teletoon/Family Channel and through PBSI as a freelance character designer and animator. In an effort to venture further into animation, Neil is currently developing concepts for animated television series. Stay tooned!
